Public Classes in the Community
The classes listed below are classes that are open to the general public only. Note that some agencies may charge a fee. This list is updated as instructors inform the Rent Well Program of upcoming classes, so check back often.
Even though 70+ agencies teach the Rent Well course, most agencies only have the funding to teach the course to their current or past participants. If you are working with a non-profit, case manager, or social services agency, feel free to ask them if their agency teaches Rent Well courses. It is possible that they do. You can see a list of all the agencies that are current Community Partners here.

Zoom Thursday Afternoons

Commitment: All participants are asked to have their cameras on and participate.You agree to attend an in-person individual session to register for the class. The class is taught in 6 weeks, with a 2 & 1/2-hour session each week. There is an extra week at the end of the 6 weeks for makeup work and help with assignments. There will be a break or breaks throughout the class.
Please note:
· If you miss the first session of class, you will not be allowed to attend the rest of the class series and will be added to the next available class.
· If you miss one of the six sessions (other than the first one), you must make it up to earn a certificate. If you miss more than one class; you may be required to take another full 6-session class to earn the certificate. If possible, you can make up the classes you missed in another session only if there is space permitting.
